Size

How big do Doodle puppies get?

Puppies vary in size and as with humans, the size of the puppies largely depends on the size of the parents, but there are always exceptions. The following sizes are examples of our Doodles' puppies.

  • Labradoodles, standard, 21-24 inches tall, 50-65 pounds.

  • Mini Labradoodles, 13-20 inches tall, 20-40 pounds.

  • Dalmadoodles, 17-19 inches tall, 30-40 pounds.

  • Aussiedoodles, toy, 10 inches or less, 5-15 pounds.

Pricing

How much are your puppies?

Obviously RHD's is breeding several different types of doodles and they vary in pricing because of different characteristics, such as:

  • Breed

  • Size

  • Color

  • Gender

  • Uniqueness

Our puppies are priced between $800 & $3,000 depending on breed, size, and color.  Generally, the smaller the puppy and the more colors involved increase the cost of the puppy. Merles are also more expensive. RHD's sets the price based on comparisons to similar breeds and characteristics from other breeders. We want our puppies to be competitively priced and each one comes with breeding rights.

Deposits ($200, nonrefundable) are required to reserve a puppy and choice of litter is determined by the earliest deposit received. RHD's reserves the right to select a puppy from each litter and the ability to refuse a puppy to anyone we feel is not a good fit for our puppies.

Misc.

  1. Do you have the parents on site?  Yes

  2. Can we see the puppies? Yes, during the first 4 weeks, RHD's will provide pics/videos/facetime of the puppies. After 4 weeks the puppies can be seen on site.

  3. At what age are the puppies ready for their furever homes? Puppy delivery is between 6 to 8 weeks depending on the breed and size of the puppy.

  4. Are the puppies up to date on their shots? Puppies are wormed at 2-4-6 weeks. They are vet checked and will have at least one round of shots at 6 weeks and two rounds at 8 weeks of age.

  5. What is an F1, F1b, F1bb, etc? Each generation of doodle has a letter/number designation. F1 being the first cross, F1b the first back cross, etc. Doodle generation charts are readily available on the internet and generally easy to understand.
